All about mePosted by cnull, 2/2/07 at 9:50:13 AM.Kennebunk High School, Kennebunk, ME 1989 BA in Human Ecology from the College of the Atlantic, Bar Harbor, ME 1993 M.Ed in Literacy from the University of Maine, Orono, ME 2007 C.A.S in Literacy Candidate, University of Maine, Orono, ME For the last 5 years I was teaching Kindergarten, and those were great years! I am now settled in to my new role across the hall, as the K-8 Librarian. This is my first year as the school's librarian and it has been exciting to work with so many of my former K students again. I have been teaching weekly classes, offering literacy support to students in grades K-8, and have been focusing on bringing authors & illustrators, and other literacy experiences to students at Pemetic. I continue to take classes at University of Maine and am currently enrolled in a C.A.S (Certificate of Advanced Study) Program in Literacy, with my long term goal of, earning my doctorate. My husband Jake is a carpenter and we live in Town Hill with our Springer Spaniel, Preston and our tiger cat, Broccoli. We like to travel, watch sports, cook, and garden. We are interested in art, music, and camping. In the summer we work for an Art Program on MDI. We both love the ocean, nature, and spending time outside with our dog.
